Falcon USD(USDF)

Overview

Falcon USD (USDF) is a synthetic dollar token issued by the Falcon Finance protocol and designed to track the value of the US dollar. Users mint USDF by depositing supported collateral, which can include stablecoins and major cryptocurrencies, into the protocol.

The protocol seeks returns from the deposited collateral through approaches such as market-neutral strategies, and it uses a two-token model in which staking USDF produces sUSDF, a yield-accruing token. Falcon Finance publishes reserve and collateral disclosures intended to support transparency, though risks remain relating to collateral volatility, strategy execution, and smart contract security.
