Overview

USDtb shares characteristics with established fiat-backed stablecoins such as USDC and USDT, seeking to maintain a stable value pegged to the US dollar through cash and cash-equivalent reserves. Holders can transfer USDtb freely and without restriction.

The primary reserve asset behind USDtb is BUIDL, BlackRock's tokenized fund, which accounts for roughly 90% of total reserves. This is the highest BUIDL allocation among stablecoins and is intended to let USDtb scale without practical constraints on issuance.
