Sun Token (SUN) is the governance token of SUN.io, a platform built on the TRON blockchain. SUN.io has been described as TRON's first one-stop platform combining stablecoin swaps, token mining, and self-governance in a single venue.
Following a redenomination, the new SUN token functions as a multifunctional governance token, comparable in design to Curve DAO's CRV and Ellipsis's EPS. Holders are granted rights and benefits such as community voting and governance participation, value capture, and staking rewards.
