Oasis(ROSE)

Overview

Oasis (ROSE) is a layer-one blockchain designed to support confidential applications at scale, using a layered architecture that separates its consensus layer from multiple runtimes. Its main components include Sapphire, an EVM-compatible runtime with built-in privacy features, and the Oasis Privacy Layer (OPL), which lets dApps on other EVM chains access confidential computation.

ROSE is the network's native token, used to pay transaction fees and to participate in proof-of-stake consensus through staking and delegation. Oasis highlights confidential smart contracts based on trusted execution environments (TEEs), and points to AI, DeFi, DAOs, and gaming as use cases where data needs to remain private.
