Overview

MAG7.ssi is an index-style token issued under SoSoValue's SSI (SoSoValue Index) Protocol, which uses on-chain smart contracts to repackage a multi-chain, multi-asset portfolio into a single wrapped token. The token is designed to track the value movements of its underlying basket, giving holders exposure in a structure similar to passive index investing without holding each constituent asset separately.

The basket consists of the top seven projects by market capitalization, selected for their degree of social consensus and available liquidity. At launch it used an equal 10% weighting so that second-tier leaders outside Bitcoin and Ethereum receive meaningful allocation, and the index is rebalanced monthly with a buffer rule intended to limit turnover and the transaction friction that frequent rebalancing would create.
