Golem(GLM)

Overview

Golem Network is an open-source, decentralized computing platform that operates a peer-to-peer marketplace for distributed computing resources, with a current focus on supplying computing power to the AI industry. Participants interact directly on the platform, exchanging GLM tokens for the use of idle computing resources.

The network can break tasks into smaller subtasks and distribute them across multiple providers for parallel processing. GLM, the Golem Network Token, is used to pay for computation: requestors bid an amount of GLM to have a task completed, while providers earn GLM by running those computations.
