Global Dollar(USDG)

Overview

Global Dollar (USDG) is a single-currency stablecoin pegged to the US dollar and fully redeemable from Paxos on a one-to-one basis. It is issued by Paxos Digital Singapore, a Major Payments Institution supervised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and in the EU by Paxos Issuance Europe Oy, an Electronic Money Institution regulated by Finland's FIN-FSA. USDG is compliant with the EU's Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCA).

USDG issuance follows regulatory standards covering value stability, capital adequacy, redemption at par, and comprehensive disclosure. Reserve assets are subject to monthly independent attestations, annual audits, and regular regulatory examinations, and are held in segregated accounts on trust for the benefit of USDG holders. As a blockchain-based token, USDG is available around the clock with fast transfers and programmability.
