Conflux(CFX)

Overview

Conflux (CFX) is a permissionless Layer 1 blockchain built on a Tree-Graph structure designed to deliver high throughput and low transaction fees. It originally ran on proof-of-work and later moved to a hybrid PoW/PoS consensus intended to strengthen network security and scalability. The network offers an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible space, allowing developers to reuse existing Ethereum applications and tooling.

CFX is the native token of the Conflux Network, used to pay transaction and storage fees, secure the chain through staking, and participate in on-chain governance votes. Each CFX is divisible into 10^18 Drip, and it serves a role comparable to ETH in paying gas on Ethereum. Conflux is known as a public blockchain operating within China's regulatory framework and has worked with Asian institutions and brands, including collaborations tied to the city of Shanghai, on blockchain initiatives.
