Bitget Token(BGB)

Overview

Bitget Token (BGB) is a digital asset launched in 2021 as the platform token of the Bitget exchange and Bitget Wallet. Bitget's leadership includes executives with backgrounds at global finance and technology firms, among them CEO Gracy Chen, COO Vugar Usi Zade, and CLO Hon Ng. In September 2025, Bitget entered a strategic partnership with the Morph chain, and the Morph Foundation, a non-profit decentralized organization, took over responsibility for BGB's future development.

BGB now functions as the gas and governance token of the Morph chain, while also being used across partner exchanges and wallets for Launchpool token mining, fee discounts, and similar utilities. Its initial supply was fixed at 2 billion tokens, and as of September 2025 the circulating supply was reported at 699,992,035 BGB. The Morph Foundation has stated that it will tie the BGB burn mechanism to Morph network activity until total supply is reduced to 100 million.
