Overview

Beldex (BDX) is a privacy-focused blockchain project conceived and launched in 2018, aiming to build a decentralized, confidential ecosystem for Web3 interactions. BDX serves as the ecosystem's native coin, facilitating confidential transactions with an emphasis on protecting user data and online privacy.

Beldex was initially developed on a proof-of-work architecture and later transitioned to a proof-of-stake consensus model to improve scalability and reduce fees and transaction times. Its ecosystem includes privacy-oriented applications such as the BChat messenger, the BelNet decentralized network, the Beldex Browser, the Beldex protocol, and the Beldex bridge.
