Bedrock(BR)

Overview

Bedrock (BR) is the token of an ecosystem built around liquid staking and related DeFi protocols, where BR serves a central role in governance and incentive design. Bedrock DAO is the governance framework that manages decisions within the ecosystem, including protocol parameters, incentive structures, and liquidity allocation.

The governance system is based on veBR, a voting escrow token obtained by locking BR at a 1:1 ratio. The longer the lock duration, the greater the voting power, and veBR holders vote on governance proposals, including gauge allocations that determine how incentives are distributed across liquidity pools.
